Exploring the 12 Prophets of Aleijadinho: a 3D visit1730 (38) – born August 29, in Vila Rica, bastard son of the Portuguese master architect Manuel Francisco Lisboa and Isabel, slave. There are authors who put the date of 1738 for his birth. His baptism was in the church of Antônio Dias parish, today Ouro Preto. His death is also in the same church and was buried at the altar of the Good Death.

Little is known of his family life. He would have had a son, Manuel Francisco Lisboa (like his father) with Creole Narciza Rodrigues da Conceição. He went to Rio de Janeiro: the first trip in 1756 with Friar Lucas Santa Clara, the second to have been summoned to go to Rio Grande do Sul (1776) and the following year to solve the problems of the alleged paternity. His illness (1777) begins after age 45, causing atrophy of the fingers and limbs.
